The former Karnataka chief minister, producer, exhibitor and distributors in his come back to cinema after 12 years has warned the KFCC and KFPA to save the grace of the small time producers.

Speaking at the ‘Jaguar’ success meet at Hotel Ashok, former chief minister HDK stated that he would come back to distribution to save the small time producers. Look at what he says in his address:

·        What Kannada Film producer Association and Apex Body KFCC is doing to save the skin of small producers? They take Rs.50000 as fee for registration. They do nothing. The distribution system is monopolized. Responsible bodies are not doing right job.

·        I am finding Gandhinagar Rajakiya very tough compared to my political field. I ask the respective bodies to save the small producers from clutches.

·        Although I was not doing films in the last one decade, I was aware of every bit of activity of Kannada film industry.

·        Since there is no big voice for small time producers they suffer with no support.

·        When the exhibition system is controlled by a few a person like me facing trouble. Look at such small producers.

·        My film in the interior theatres is collecting well. In 30 plus theatres the change is opted, I would fight against it.

·        There are theatres asking for Rs.2.50 lakh rent in the taluk level. When the film collects so much they are not happy. There is no respect to the producer today.

·        Look at how we have allowed the non Kannada films. In nearly 150 to 200 screens they barge even in Taluk level. Is there not a system to control such havoc asks HDK.

·        There is urgent need of Janata Theatre that would help the Kannada films.

·        I have done ‘Jaguar’ in Kannada and Telugu. It is only Kannada film that saved me. Now it is stage for ‘Horata’.

·        The two films coming for 28 October, disturb the good collection theatres of Jaguar, I would not keep quiet.
